SANDHILLS JAZZ SOCIETY

Welcome
Whether you're a musician or just an avid music fan, Sandhills Jazz Society welcomes all lovers of jazz, blues, funk and soul and everything in between!
The Sandhills Jazz Society was founded out of determination, passion, community need and of course, the love for music. We were incorporated in 2018 as a community-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts/educational organization located in Fayetteville, NC. From the onset, the society has worked diligently to help establish Fayetteville as a center for the creation and exchange of sounds between local, national and international music communities.

Our mission is to promote interest in jazz music across multiple generations, to actively engage a new generation in the efforts of the Society, and to have fun producing a financially viable annual All-American City Jazz Festival. We want to not only increase the appreciation of the music, but to strengthen the arts community by developing special projects, artistic exchanges, partnerships, educational workshops, community programs, and collaborations that further the art form. Our vision encompasses a wide spectrum of jazz, blues, world, creative, and improvised music, including evolving forms of jazz and the technologies and media that influence jazz as an art form.

Live Production Classes
We are excited to announce that our next class session begins March 7, 2026. We extend our sincere appreciation to Cumberland County, NC Community Impact Grant Program for supporting this opportunity and helping us continue to invest in the next generation of creators.
Students enrolled in this program will gain a truly immersive, hands‑on learning experience. Throughout the All-American City Jazz Series, participants will work side by side with professional engineers, stage technicians, and artists as they help produce three live shows—one on May 29 and two on May 30. All performances will be free to the public.
Tickets will be required, and we’ll be dropping details soon… including the reveal of our international touring artist. Trust us, you’ll want to be in the room for this.
Registration is now open. These classes are designed to build real‑world skills in live event production, concerts, A/V, and digital media. Students will learn the fundamentals of setup, mixing, cable management, and even DJ techniques used in professional event environments.

All Classes will be held at 2510 Legion Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28306.
